Annual Converse Business Appreciation Luncheon

Service Cuts Barbershop Converse was recognized by the City of Converse Economic Development Corporation at the Annual Converse Business Appreciation luncheon as an "Everyday Hero in Business." The shop located at the intersection of Crestway Dr. & Old Sequin Road and managed by Mr. Marcus Bibbs (AKA Big Marcus) has been a great example of quality in the local community averaging 4.8 on Google reviews mainly because of our Family Friendly atmosphere and our sharp Bold Fades and meticulous woman’s haircuts.

Equally noteworthy is that the team in Converse has served Community members tirelessly through initiatives ranging from complimentary haircuts for underprivileged kids prior to going back to school and supporting Converse PD and Converse FD fundraising efforts. Nonetheless, Service Cuts Barbershop leadership was very moved and humbled to be the only beauty industry business recognized by the City of Converse Mayor Al Suarez at the Luncheon. 

Keynote speaker, Dr. Carol Wheeler, Founder of NopaLeadership placed great emphasis throughout her comments on the value of a multifaceted approach to business leadership & development; her comments along with the votes from various customers and subsequent recognition by City of Converse leaders has renewed Service Cuts Barbershop commitment to supporting the communities it services to the fullest extent possible.
